Breckin’s session was the perfect reminder of why I love working as a San Diego baby photographer. He came into the studio calm, alert, and already full of personality. Every baby is different, and Breckin brought a quiet strength to the session that made it feel effortless.
We kept the styling simple and mostly neutral—soft textures, minimal props, and tones that let the focus stay on Breckin himself. His time awake gave us a chance to capture a few wide-eyed portraits, along with the classic sleepy poses that parents love. The result was a beautifully balanced gallery that reflects both his calm presence and subtle expressions.
We also brought in a few rich jewel tones for a portion of the session to add a bit of depth and color to his gallery. The tones worked beautifully with his skin and brought variety without taking away from the clean, timeless look. Toward the end of the session, Breckin’s big sister joined us for a few portraits. Her presence added an extra layer of meaning to the session—natural, unforced, and full of connection.
