San Diego Newborn Photographer | Welcome baby Sophie

There is nothing sweeter than those first few weeks with a brand new baby, and as a San Diego newborn photographer, sessions like Sophie are always so special to capture.

This sweet family came into my San Diego newborn photography studio to document their newest addition. It was extra special for me because I also photographed big brother as a newborn. Seeing families come back and grow over the years is one of best parts of what I do.

A Calm, Baby-Led Newborn Session

Baby Sophie could not have been more precious. She was calm, relaxed, and gave us such a great mix during her session.

She slept beautifully for those soft, curled up poses. We also had a little awake time, which I always love. Those bright eyes and tiny expressions add so much personality to a gallery.

As a San Diego newborn photographer, I always keep sessions relaxed and baby-led. There’s no rushing and no pressure. Everything flows naturally, based on baby. Sophie did exactly that, settling in when she was ready and giving us both those peaceful, sleepy images and a few sweet, alert moments.
