Capture the sweet, fleeting moments of your newborn’s early days with one of my thoughtfully designed photography packages. Whether you're looking for a simple session with just a few beautiful images or a full experience that includes family and sibling poses, I offer a package that fits your needs.
Newborn sessions are calm, baby-led, and softly guided - so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
All sessions include high-resolution digital images (sent via Dropbox) and an online proofing gallery, where you can select your favorites from the comfort of your home. After receiving your gallery, you'll also have the option to purchase premium products such as fine art prints, heirloom albums, and gallery-wrapped canvases.
Newborn Sessions are typically done between 5-18 days old, and are held in my Carmel Mountain Ranch, San Diego home studio Monday-Saturday.
Most families book during their second trimester to guarantee availability.
The session fee is $100 and is due at booking to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

MOST POPULAR - A relaxed session that blends natural, baby-led moments with softly guided posing. With additional time built in, there is flexibility for both awake moments and those classic sleepy images.

For families who prefer a more ralaxed, natural session at home, lifestyle sessions are available as an upgrade to any newborn session package.
These sessions focus on genuine connection and real moments, using the natural light and comfort of your home. I'll also bring a small selection of wraps, accessories, and a simple prop to keep everything soft, cohesive, and beautifully styled.
In-home lifestyle sessions are available for an additional $200

Your Newborn Session Experience
Your newborn session is designed to be relaxed, safe and stress-free for both you and your baby. My warm home studio in San Diego is fully stocked with wraps, outfits, and carefully chosen props, so you only need to bring your baby and a few essentials. With over 15 years of experience and an assistant always present for safety, I gently pose your newborn while you sit back and relax. My goal is to create timeless portraits that capture the beauty of your baby's first days while giving you a calm, enjoyable experience.
A session fee of $100 is due at the time of booking to reserve your spot on my calendar. The session fee applies towards your session. Your balance is due on your session date. Payment can be made by Zelle, Venmo, credit card (thru PayPal), cash, or local check. Prices are non-negotiable, are subject to change at any time, and are only locked in with your session fee.
Each package includes a online password protected gallery of your images, no need to show up in person to choose your favorites...it's all done conveniently online in the comfort of your own home.
I offer a limited number of sessions each month so it is best to contact me early in your pregnancy to ensure I have space around your due date, but I do often have a few last-minute openings available.
My home photography studio is located in Carmel Mountain Ranch- San Diego, CA.
The average newborn photography session typically lasts around 1-3 hours. Should your baby need to take a break for feedings or for extra cuddles, then a session can go as long as 4 hours. Sessions begin at 10am, M-F. Please inquire if needing a weekend session.
I prefer to photograph newborns between 5 -18 days old when the baby is still super sleepy and squishy. But, it's never too late for beautiful pictures of your baby.
Absolutely! I love capturing the special bond between your newborn and their siblings. Both parents and siblings are welcome to be part of the session. The Classic Newborn Session includes the option to add sibling and family portraits for an additional cost, while the Deluxe Newborn Session already includes parent, sibling, and full family poses. Please note: sessions are limited to immediate family only. Must inquire in advance for extended family options.
The sooner the better to ensure I have spots available around your due date. I do often have last minute spots available though so please just contact me.
I basically reserve your due date (with a $100 deposit) and that guarantees you a spot around when your baby is born. I only reserve a certain amount of due dates a month to ensure I have enough spaces available.
No, I provide everything. I have a huge selection of bonnets, headbands, wraps, and props for the session. The only thing you need to bring is your beautiful baby, a pacifier and milk.
